 Product Format: Brass Quintet
The great Austrian composer Franz Schubert was a supreme melodist and master of lieder. This transcription is based on his “Sanctus (Holy, Holy, Holy)" from his German "Mass in F" for four-part choir. It lends itself well to the expressive qualities of the modern brass quintet.
Technical Notes: In addition to the listed standard brass quintet parts, optional parts are included for E Flat horn, trombone (as a substitute for horn) and E Flat bass. The percussion (suspended cymbal and bells) and timpani parts are labelled as optional. This product has a difficulty rating of 2-3 on a scale of 1 to 6 with 6 being the hardest. This piece was composed by James Curnow. This piece was published by Curnow Music Press. This piece was part of the series "Curnow Festival Ensemble Series". |
