Don Schaeffer, a respected director/composer/arranger, has compiled the "Right Now" series. This book includes ten selections for intermediate and beginning combos or jazz ensembles. This collection is intended for players with limited experience. "Right Now" is appropriate for any combination of instrumentation.
Technical Notes: The C, E flat, B flat and Bass Clef books all contain a melody line, harmony part, counter melody / bass line and chords. The piano / rhythm book contains parts for piano, guitar, bass and drums. The songs can be played with almost any combination of instruments as long as the melody, harmony and bass lines are covered.
